A Note to My Hubby
Dearest Zack,
Today is Father's Day. Yes, I do remember that we both feel Father's (and Mother's) Day are Hallmark-made holidays so that the company can have a boost in sales during their slow season. As well, I remember that we feel people make much ado over these fake holidays.
With that being said, I just wanted to f8 take today -- June 20th -- not necessarily Father's Day -- to let you know just how much I appreciate you.
It has been an awesome experience transforming from crazy college kids carving watermelons because they waited too long to buy Jack O Lanterns, to a crazy engaged couple buying their first house, to a slightly more mature married couple travelling the world and most recently to Mommy & Daddy. I have really enjoyed seeing first hand your transformation into Daddy-hood.
You have worked so hard and sacrificed so much in order for our family to function with me staying home. I can never thank you enough for that. You always put your family first. Also, it makes my day to see you interact with Xavier the way that you do. He always lights up when you come into the room. You are such a great Daddy and I know he would say the same if he could!< 400 br>
A lot of women complain about how their husbands aren't helpful with the kid(s) or how they don't help around the house. I have no complaints. You have been accepting of all the crazy things I've thrown at you (cloth diapers/wipes, homemade baby food, chemical free this and that...) and you are always on top of the situation at hand whether it is a diaper that needs changing, play or bath time or even dinner needing made.
In short, I couldn't do this without you. Period.
Please do have a Happy Day and know that you are very much loved!
